Because this is a farm & mill we are available most of the time – including weekends (we go away to a few weekend shows). Give us a call or email about when you would like to come by, or just stop in anytime if it is on your way.
We are only accepting washed fiber for processing
Our farm - located in the lakes region of central Maine - grew from two 6 month old Angora goats 21 years ago to a total of 35 assorted goats and sheep today. The primary purpose of the farm is to raise healthy, vigorous animals that produce interesting mohair and wool for spinning and that enrich our lives with their antics and charm.
Friendz Blendz is our line of 50% Mohair/50% Wool specialty dyed roving & yarns. These are available at our Yarn in a Yurt at the farm and various New England fiber shows and festivals. We carry basic equipment, supplies and books for spinning, dyeing, knitting, & felting.
If you have seen us at a show and want our products – we ship anywhere in the USA
We have registered and unregistered white, colored, and color carrying breeding stock
(does and bucks) from 4 months to 4 years old. We also sell wethers (neutered males) for pets and handspinners' flocks.
Winter workshops are listed for January, February & March for spinning, dyeing, locker hooking, wet and needle felting. Come join us to expand your fiber arts skills. A list of shows and festivals we will be participating in this year with dates and links to sites with more general show information.
Rabbits We raise a line of multi-colored Satin rabbits for pets, pelts, and meat. Eight to 12 week old bunnies are available from May to November for pets or breeding stock. These hardy rabbits live outdoors year round next to the garden. They snack on fresh greens when available and hay off season. We do not breed during the winter months.
